
Tim Neesham has more than 20 years of experience in financial markets, with a particular focus on corporate structuring, capital raising, and strategic advisory for public and private companies. Throughout his career, he has been involved in numerous initial public offerings (IPOs), corporate restructurings, and the enhancement of operational models across various industries.
He played a key role in the structuring and relisting of the Cadbury Yowie brand as Yowie Group, as well as in the development of companies such as Meteoric Resources and GRG International, including the listing of its manufacturing subsidiary under the Guangdong Radio Group. More recently, he led the restructuring and relisting of the Broken Hill Mine—one of the world’s longest-operating lead, zinc, and silver mines—alongside the development of the Pinnacles project, whose value increased from a nominal acquisition to over USD 300 million within the first year after listing.
Over the course of his career, he has been involved in a large number of transactions related to asset acquisition, divestment, and development, working with companies to identify, acquire, and bring asset portfolios to capital markets. His expertise spans complex corporate restructurings, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and the implementation of strategic initiatives. He has led and executed capital raisings exceeding USD 500 million for companies listed on exchanges such as the Australian Securities Exchange, London Stock Exchange, and New York Stock Exchange.
In addition to his business career, Tim Neesham is a three-time Olympian, having represented Australia in water polo at the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics, the Athens 2004 Summer Olympics, and the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics. He also served as captain of the Australian national team. He is actively involved as an ambassador, supporter, and sponsor of several non-profit organizations, including the Clontarf Foundation, which supports young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men, as well as the Fremantle Water Polo Club, where he contributes to coaching and mentoring children and young athletes.
