Petar Tomašević (MBA, OLY) is an experienced executive director and investment advisor with a strong international background in the mining, finance, and corporate governance sectors. He currently serves as Executive Director and CEO of Yugo Metals Ltd (ASX: YUG), where he plays a key role in driving the company’s strategic development and advancing exploration projects focused on critical battery and technology metals across Europe.
He is also the Founder and Director of Vert Capital, a boutique investment and corporate advisory firm based in Perth, Australia. Through Vert Capital, he provides strategic advisory, capital raising, and investment services to high-net-worth individuals and both private and ASX-listed companies.
Prior to his senior leadership roles, he gained valuable experience in financial advisory and capital markets, working as a Financial Advisor and Account Manager within established Australian financial services and corporate advisory firms.
In addition to his business career, Mr. Tomašević is a former professional water polo player and Olympian. He competed at the highest level across Europe and represented both Serbia and France internationally. He participated in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games as a member of the French national team. His sporting career has strongly influenced his leadership style, fostering resilience, discipline, and the ability to perform under pressure.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Project Management from Edith Cowan University, as well as a Diploma of Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional.
Petar Tomašević holds Australian, French, and Montenegrin citizenship and is actively engaged in strengthening business ties between Europe and Australia.
